We want every child in Utrecht to feel safe and happy. The Children’s Ombuds Desk is there for children and young people living in the city of Utrecht. If you have a complaint about the municipality, youth services or your school, we will help you. If, for some reason, we are not able to help you with your complaint, we will always explain why.
We are there for you
The Utrechts Ombudsloket will listen to your story or complaint about the municipality, your school or youth services.
‘Please come by and let us know what your concerns are’, says ombudsman Alma van Bommel: ‘It can be anything; maybe there is no place where you can play football nearby. Or maybe you have a problem with youth care or at school? We are happy to think along with you.’

When did the Ombuds Desk start?
The Utrechts Ombuds Desk has started September 1st, 2023. People can contact us, using the form on our website, our telephone consultation hours are on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. You can also visit our office on Thursday evenings.
