The Utrecht Ombuds Desk is impartial. You can contact us free of charge. If you have a complaint about the municipality, we will listen to you and give you advice. We are there for residents of Utrecht and entrepreneurs.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Introducing the Ombudsman<\/h2>\n\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t\t

The Utrechts Ombudsdesk wants to contribute to a better contact between residents and the municipality.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Happily, many things work out well in the city of Utrecht. But the municipality is a large organisation and sometimes people don’t feel heard. Or citizens don’t know where to go, when they have a problem. Ombudsman Alma van Bommel: ‘That’s\u00a0when we step in. We listen to them, give advice and mediate. If needed the ombudsteam can also investigate. Van Bommel: ‘In order to do a good job <\/span>it’s necessary for us to know our fellow citizens and to understand the problems they are facing.’\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The ombudsteam is situated in the middle of Utrecht. The team visits neighborhoods frequently.<\/span><\/p>\n
